Salina opened Karma Salon & Spa in August 2014 after always aspiring to have a salon of her own. She is a driven, ambitious and customer-oriented salon owner who leads from the front and has a hands-on approach to running her business. She believes that continuing education in this business is a priority so that we can provide safe, effective and reliable results to our clients every time. She feels it is just as important to also understand and build relationships with each client to focus on their wants and needs. She has a true passion for teaching and believes in apprenticeships to be able to learn hands on in the right setting under the right supervision to get the best education possible. Salina is extremely proud of her talents, her business and her staff. She states, “I have the utmost respect, trust and confidence in every one of my Cosmetologists and I feel that each one of them brings a unique talent and specialty to our Karma family!”

Mesmerized by watching her grandmother at the early age of 14 years old, Rhonda’s dream came true when she became a Licensed Cosmetologist in 1988. She was confident at an early age that this was her passion and she would be the best that she could be. With over 31 years of experience, she believes that keeping up with education and current trends allows her to perfect her technique and satisfy her customers need to stay in style and up-to-date. In addition to her years of service, she owned her own salon in Forest Hill, MD. She also enjoys and is educated in all nail services as well. From haircuts and color to manicures and pedicures to everything in between, your consultation with her is very important. She will do everything she can to help you achieve exactly what you are looking for and what you want, including educating you on how to achieve or maintain your look at home!

Nicole has a true love and talent for artistry and loves to paint and design canvas’ that inspire. She made the decision to bring her talents into the cosmetology world when she realized her true passion to create works of art not only on hair but nails as well. Her true talent shines through in her work and personality. She began assisting the salon owner and stylists to get a real life behind the chair experience before stepping out behind her own chair and taking her own clients. She continues to expand on her knowledge of the industry by attending classes and hair shows to learn from the industry’s best and top leaders. Education is key to success in this industry as styles and trends are always changing. Her true passion lies within creating dimensional hair with fun, vibrant fashion colors that brings out her client’s personalities.

Hayley realized her love of hair when she began creating updo’s and special occasion styles for her friends for dances and prom’s. In 2018, she officially became a part of the Karma family to start her journey. While she apprenticed at Karma, she hasn’t stopped learning since obtaining her license. She began assisting the salon owner and stylists to get a real life behind the chair experience before stepping out behind her own chair and taking her own clients. She continues to expand on her knowledge of the industry by attending classes and hair shows to learn from the industry’s best and top leaders. Education is key to success in this industry as styles and trends are always changing. Her true passion lies within color techniques such as balayage, Root Taps, Root Melts and Dimensional Highlighting. She has proven herself to take on any challenge that may come her way. Her passion most definitely shines through her work.
